The NAC T700 Top Tube Bag puts everything you need right in front of you, sitting on your top tube exactly where your eyes naturally fall during a ride. The 700ml main compartment is large enough to fit a standard smartphone, a couple of energy bars, your keys, earphones, and a slim wallet simultaneously — without bulging.

The weatherproof outer fabric and reinforced stitching ensure your phone and valuables stay completely dry even when you're caught in a monsoon downpour or spraying through waterlogged roads. Three adjustable Velcro straps — one on the steertube and two on the top tube — lock the bag in place with enough firmness to eliminate movement and rattle on rough terrain, while the strap excess can be trimmed for a clean, tidy finish.

Key Features

  • 700ml storage capacity — fits your smartphone, energy gels, snack bars, keys, wallet, earphones, and a compact camera within arm's reach.
  • Weatherproof build — water-resistant fabric with robust stitching keeps your valuables dry through monsoon rain, road spray, and wet trail conditions.
  • Rock-solid mounting — mounts to the top tube and steertube with three adjustable Velcro straps: zero swing or bounce, even on rough MTB terrain and potholed city roads.
  • Instant access — positioned for grab-and-go use while riding, with no need to stop or dig through a bag for your phone or a snack.
  • Universal fit — fits a wide range of frame sizes and types: road bikes, MTBs, gravel bikes, hybrid cycles, and commuters.
  • Slim, aerodynamic profile — sits low on the top tube without obstructing your view, leg clearance, or pedalling motion.
  • 6-month warranty and 15-day return policy — backed by NAC's India-based support team.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × NAC T700 Top Tube Bag
  • 3 × Velcro securing straps (1 steertube strap, 2 top tube straps)

Installation

Fitting the T700 takes under two minutes with no tools required:

  1. Thread the three included Velcro straps through the corresponding loops on the bag — one for the steertube and two for the top tube.
  2. Place the bag on the top tube, positioning it centrally between the steertube and seat tube. Ensure the bag does not sit over any brake or shift cables.
  3. Wrap the steertube strap around the steertube and fasten the Velcro firmly — this anchors the front of the bag and prevents it from rotating.
  4. Wrap the two top tube straps around the top tube and fasten both closures firmly — these hold the rear of the bag level and prevent bounce.
  5. If excess strap length is visible, trim it cleanly with scissors for a neat finish.
  6. Give the bag a firm shake to confirm it is secure with no movement before riding.

Tip: For the most secure, rattle-free fit on MTBs, tighten all three straps as firmly as possible and check them again after the first ride, as Velcro can loosen slightly before it fully beds in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my smartphone fit inside?
Yes. The 700ml compartment fits standard smartphones (including most Plus and Max sizes), along with energy bars, keys, and a slim wallet at the same time.
Can I navigate using my phone in the bag?
The T700 has a closed top — your phone is protected but not visible. If you want navigation visible while riding, look at our Pathfinder Top Tube Bag, which has a built-in touchscreen window for your phone.
Will it slide around on the top tube?
No. The three Velcro straps (one steertube, two top tube) lock the bag firmly in place. Once tightened, it stays completely rattle-free on rough roads and MTB trails.
Is the T700 top tube bag waterproof for monsoon commuting?
The weatherproof fabric and reinforced stitching keep contents dry through monsoon rain and road spray. For multi-hour downpours, a zip-lock around your phone adds a second layer of protection.
Will a top tube bag hit my knees while pedalling?
The T700's slim, tapered profile sits narrow at the rear specifically to avoid knee contact. On standard frames with normal posture there's no rub; mount it close behind the steerer for maximum clearance.
