Beyond plugging active punctures, the sealant also seals the gradual, invisible air leaks that slowly deflate even well-mounted tubeless tyres overnight — the slow leaks around the bead seat, through porous sidewalls, and around the valve base that cause you to pump up your tyres before every ride. How to Use

For a fresh tubeless setup:

1. Mount your tubeless tyre on the rim with one bead seated. Before seating the second bead fully, pour the recommended volume of Instant Seal sealant directly into the tyre — typically 60–90ml per tyre for MTBs, and 30–60ml for road and hybrid tyres.
2. Seat the second bead fully and inflate using a floor pump or air booster canister until both beads click into place on the rim.
3. Once inflated to your target riding pressure, lay the wheel flat and rotate it slowly in all directions for 30–60 seconds to coat the entire inner tyre surface with sealant.
4. Check for any active leaks — small bubbles or hissing at the bead or sidewall should seal within a few rotations. Larger leaks may require a second round of rotation.
5. Set to your desired riding pressure and head out.

For topping up an existing tubeless setup:

1. Remove the valve core using a valve core tool.
2. Use a syringe or the bottle's nozzle to inject the appropriate volume of fresh sealant directly through the valve.
3. Refit the valve core, inflate to riding pressure, and rotate the wheel to distribute the sealant.

Maintenance tip: Tyre sealant dries and loses effectiveness over time — check and top up your sealant every 4–6 months, or any time you notice your tyres losing pressure more quickly than usual between rides.
