Keep your bike looking new with the Clear Frame Protector Essential — a 7-piece, die-cut protection kit designed for the high-wear areas of your frame. The ultra-clear film shields the top tube, down tube, seat tube, and steer tube from scratches, scuffs, cable rub and stone chips while remaining virtually invisible on most finishes.

The thin, water-resistant film helps hide micro scratches and preserves paint and resale value. Installation is straightforward: clean the surface, position the die-cut pieces, and use a squeegee or your fingers to smooth out bubbles and ensure full adhesion. The material conforms to curves and comes off cleanly when removed carefully, allowing easy replacement or repositioning. Because it’s engineered for universal fit, the Essential kit works on a wide range of frame geometries, from road bikes to full-sized MTBs and fat bikes. The film also helps mask light, existing micro-scratches, so your frame looks fresher after application. For best results, avoid applying in direct sunlight or on very dirty surfaces.

  Installation and care
  Average installation time 10-15 minutes, Installation of the clear frame protector doesn’t require special tools or procedures
  
  Installation instructions
  Step 1: Ensure the entire frame is clean and free from any dirt, oil and grease (Ensure there are no dust particles before installation)
  Step 2: (Optional) Start with splashing or spraying some water on the surface of the frame (The sizes are mentioned in the instruction manual)
  Step 3: Peel off the transfer paper and carefully from the pre-cut protective film and apply the protector on the frame (Incase the protectors are large please cut the protector before installation)
  Step 4: Gently position the protective film on the area to protect, without applying pressure or without stretching the material. Re-position if necessary, until it sits exactly where you want it. Start applying even pressure, working from the centre and going towards the sides, to avoid trapping air bubbles and making wrinkles, start using the squeegee to apply pressure and push the water out, using the squeegee till all the water is out and the film is installed. Follow steps 2,3 and 4 for all the parts of the frame.
  Step 5: After installation, it takes about 1 hour before developing its optimal bonding. After this, you can use the bike as you normally do.
  
  
  Things to keep in mind before installation 
• Ensure to make necessary cuts for your internal cable routing holes or shortening the film before removing the backing paper.
• Ensure there are no dust particles on the frame before installation.
  
• Make sure your hands are clean and try to not touch the adhesive surface with your fingers, or do it as little as possible to avoid fingerprints.
  
• To uninstall the protector, peel it off slowly, this will make sure that it won’t leave any trace of glue on the surface it was formerly attached to.
  
• Do not use a pin to remove air bubbles, use the dedicated squeegee to push out the air bubbles.
