How to Install the NAC N-625 Saddle Bag

The NAC N-625 Saddle Bag tucks your spare tube, levers, and multi-tool under your seat so you're never caught unprepared 20km from home. It fits any bike with standard saddle rails and takes under two minutes to mount — no tools needed.

Installation steps

  1. Locate the two mounting straps — one for the saddle rails, one for the seatpost.
  2. Thread the rail strap through the bag's rail loops and wrap it securely around your saddle rails. Fasten the buckle firmly so there's no left-right movement.
  3. Wrap the lower strap around the seatpost and buckle it snugly — this stops the bag swinging during the ride.
  4. Set the angle so the bag sits level with the ground, or tipped very slightly down at the rear.
  5. Shake test — a firm shake should produce zero wobble before you head out.
  6. Load it — spare tube first, then tools — and zip fully closed.

Two tips worth knowing

  • Tighten hard for MTB use. On rough terrain, cinch both straps as firmly as possible and re-check them after your first ride — buckles can settle slightly when new.
  • Dropper post riders: mount the lower strap high on the post so it doesn't interfere with the dropper's travel, and check clearance at full drop.
